Bock Damm takes its name from a derivation of "Beck" - a
simplification of Einbeck to Bock. In German, Bock means ram and
from there comes the image that represents Munich Black. The print
that appears on our Bock-Damm today is a reproduction of the
original symbol from the label of 1888.
Bock-Damm's vigorous body is the fruit of the balance and
harmony among all of its carefully selected ingredients, that give
Munich Black its singular character: strong, from its toasted body;
mild, from its low fermentation. Two contraries that the Munich
Black manages to combine to perfection in its characteristic
flavor, different from that of other dark beers.
